Just three months after its launch, the Carlo & Tina collection by Antrax IT has received its first official recognition. It has been named Winner of the Archiproducts Design... Awards in the ... Finishes... category, dedicated to cladding solutions as well as wall-mounted products distinguished by their material identity. Designed by Dante O. Benini and Andrea Crosetta, this range of heating accessories pays tribute to the work of Carlo Scarpa and specifically to his architecture for the Banca Popolare di Verona, replicating one of its technical details and the juxtaposition of multiple finishes, a hallmark of the great master’s stylistic language.
The design detail that inspires the project—a drip edge reinterpreted as a hook for hanging clothing, towels or bathrobes—is offered in stainless steel, in polished or satin finish, or in the refined metallic nuances Light Gold, Copper or Black Diamond. The heating tube, with a diameter of only 35 mm, is made of 100% recyclable aluminium and can also be customised with the same galvanic finishes or in one of over 200 colours available in the brand’s catalogue.
“Carlo & Tina represent a cultured, technical and aesthetic expression of contemporary heating: low-consumption objects (35 Watts) that carry an architectural narrative into contemporary product design. Their uniqueness was decisive in achieving this recognition, which we are pleased to share with Dante O. Benini, with whom we have collaborated for many years,” comments Alberico Crosetta, CEO of Antrax IT.
Entirely electric and equipped with an on/off switch, these heating accessories can be used individually or combined in multiple pieces, even in contrasting colours, to bring comfort to the bathroom, entrance hall, kitchen, bedroom or to hospitality and wellness settings, where the possibility of warming bathrobes is an essential part of the wellbeing experience.
