The setting is that of the wonderful park of Villa Torlonia and its centuries-old lemon grove, and the cult element is the enormous panoramic terrace. The Dama apartment, a... project by the young team of Bomori Architetti, stands in one of the most beautiful places in Rome, surrounded by greenery and some of the capital's most visited monuments. Its surface area is important: 267 square meters developed on two levels, characterized by a minimal aesthetic figure and pure geometries, to leave space for the dialogue between inside and outside.
The wide white walls, chosen for all the spaces of the house, are cut out by windows that frame the outdoor vegetation; they are interrupted only by elegant woodwork or linear black volumes, which define some rooms of the house, such as the open kitchen. In contrast to the black and white-which also characterizes the entrance to the different rooms and the lighting-the flooring, staircase and many of the custom-made furnishings, on the other hand, are in natural oak and introduce decorative geometric patterns.
This dynamic composition of lines and volumes also includes the Android radiator by Antrax IT, designed by Daniel Libeskind: its sculptural and rigorous shape, obtained thanks to an aluminum profile bent and folded to create different angles, in fact enhances the design of one of the penthouse bathrooms, completed in 2019. Its geometric facets continue the stylistic figure conceived by Bomori Architects, while the anthracite shade of the radiant surface confirms the color palette used for the interior design.
Android, here in the water version and 23.6 cm wide, also ensures a great attention to the issue of sustainability, not only because of its composition in 100% recyclable aluminum: its operation, activated by a circuit patented by the company, requires a very low water content and allows it to come on line in a very short time, with significant energy savings.
