Our Lana radiator, designed by AMDL CIRCLE, the studio founded by Michele De Lucchi, has received an Honourable Mention at the XXIX Compasso d’Oro ADI Award, a prestigious... international recognition dedicated to design.
Already awarded the Archiproducts Design Awards and the Archello Awards, Lana was selected for its ability to go beyond the traditional idea of a radiator, transforming itself into a modular, versatile heating system with a strong decorative identity.
The project is based on a square module made of 100% recyclable aluminium, with a soft, pleated surface inspired by the world of textiles. Its three-dimensional texture is not purely aesthetic: it increases the product’s radiant capacity and contributes to its high thermal performance. The modules can be combined in vertical or horizontal compositions, creating a chequerboard patchwork effect that interacts with light and makes the radiator a sculptural element.
With Lana, Antrax IT receives its third Honourable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro ADI Award, following Tubone in 2008 and Serie T in 2014, confirming the company’s ongoing research into transforming the radiator into a true furnishing object.
